Before I share the sad news, I have some good news to share with you all.
Firstly, I've been making some progress with the Good Witch, inviting her over and making friends with her. I just need to work that little harder to gain her trust and get her to teach me the 'ways' of a witch. I am so looking forward to that.
She's awesome really, making the sun shine like that, over the dorm, especially with all those dark grey snow clouds threatening a heavy storm later on.
*sigh*, would love to do all of that. And hopefully, soon, I will.
I've sailed through my Freshman year and I'm halfway through my Sophomore year, with little or no events to report back to you. Oh, except one. The dorm cook started a fire.
Typical. Guess she's still sore at that bust up with the Cow Mascot. Can't say I blame her, he IS annoying.
So it got me wanting to read up on Fire Safety, just so that I know what to do next time.
I'm getting a nice collection of flowers from Dorian. They're filling up my room.
Along with a lovely snapshot of him, trying to take a picture of me.
Isn't that too funny? I put it on my desk, so that I can see him every night when I go to sleep. Sappy, I know, but I don't care.
I love that 'take snapshot' option. I have another one too. Dorian looked a little sad in it, but I soon cheered him up.
I convinced Dorian that it was a good idea to move into the dorm with me, making him selectable and giving our funds an added boost of 1,000 simoleans (not that I need it, I've got plenty of cash thanks to my scholarships and grants that I've accumulated).
That made him extremely happy, now that we can spend some more 'quality time' together.
And also, with a little gentle persuasion, he got himself a little bit of a makeover too. He lost the bandanna, grew his hair a little longer. And managed to grow in a really cute goatee too.
Mmm, handsome.
He also had a want to get fit. Well, look at that, now who could resist a physique like that now? (laughs quietly, love his expression, it's priceless).
He's yet to decide on his Major, but I do know this. His hobby is Tinkering, so he's useful around the place with a wrench. When we graduate and move in together, I'll make sure he gets a beat up car to 'tinker' around with. Maybe he'll restore a fabulous classic car, maybe not.
And his LTW is to Marry off 6 Kids. Oh great, a big family. Look what happened to ours, it literally exploded.
Speaking of which.
The unthinkable has happened.
I'd just come back from my finals, tired, hungry, exhausted and feeling grubby, when Dad suddenly arrived at the dorm and started browsing on the Web.
When I asked him what was wrong, at first he was very evasive, but then he broke down and told me that it wasn't working out too well back home.
It appears that there's a huge problem, and everybody is in a perpetual ageless stage. Mom is getting stressed out because she can't cope any longer with feeding and caring for all four babies.
So they agreed to split apart until this resolves itself.
He told me he took Cosmo and Europa late one night, whilst the rest were sleeping, so as not to cause too much fuss. He was really sad about it, but decided it was for the best.
I can't say I wasn't heartbroken. I was. Our little nuclear family all broken up, thanks to a weird glitch. I told him that I'd support their decision anyway and hope that things right themselves eventually.
I even said, if all else fails, I'll take in Violet and Tristan, just to take the pressure off a little bit. He thanked me and slouched back home to bed. I'm worried about him. He's starting to look tired and stressed. And Cosmo and Europa aren't helping. They're keeping him awake most nights.
That's all I have to share with you for now.
Hopefully there'll be better news later on.
Signing out
Helen
PS.
On another note, I was seriously disturbed by something else that happened today....
Cleve (the weird guy in the skin tight leotard and mohican hairdo) just happened to jog past....
.... and I ended up farting hearts for him.
Seriously.
I love Dorian with all my heart.
But that was just ....
.... scary.
