There, she was hoping to meet more people, but discovered that the park was virtually deserted. So she sniffed around a little before coming face to face with a raccoon.
As much as she wished she could be enemies with this odious little scoundrel, she found herself wanting to play with it instead. So they ended up goofing around until Ginny, still ticked off at the twins' blase attitude to getting to school on time, arrived to clip on Rina's leash and drag her home.
Prior to that, Ginny caught hold of both Susan and Violet and warned them that they'd better get to school on time, and they'd make sure they got their homework - ALL their homework - done.
Together.
So, seriously chastened, the two of them, to avoid incurring the wrath of mom when they got home. They decided to sit down together to work on their sums and spelling. One helping the other one.
Not even the thunder of two sets of hooves would distract them from their studies.
