So, after reconsidering meeting up with Helen at her school (Rina decided it was too far to run and taxi drivers won't allow animals into their cars), Rina did the next best thing. She decided to explore the surrounding area, see what she could find, who she would meet.
And LO!!! Just across the back of their house, who should be just arriving home but the Newbies!!
They're a very odd lot, especially Robert and Mags, who weren't of this world. Or at least their smell told Rina that. They reminded her of the Broke family across the road. That same weird smell.
Plus, Mags was suddenly overcome and passed out cold on the floor!!!
Um, okaaaay. That's what happens when you stay outside for too long, silly woman vampire. *rolls eyes* honestly.

His skin is much pinker than those of the rest of the family.
He smelled of grass seeds and cookies and...

Ohh, Rina's ears pricked up.
Maybe somewhere in his pockets, he's got a little treat for her.

Or maybe they'd allow her inside the house so they could feed her scraps off their plates!!!

He crouched down and made a fuss of her as she waited patiently, hoping for that treatie to come her way.... or that invitation inside.
But it didn't.
Her attention was suddenly elsewhere, when he heard a familiar whistle and shout. It was Ginny, calling her home.
Home.
Food.
Play.
Fuss.
Sleep!!
