The Weird, and the Plain Strange

As you're well aware, I've had to seriously improvise with these latest updates. Since I've somehow misplaced the original saved game. Methinks it had a glitch on it, or the game never actually saved it at all.

And that's what happened a few days ago. I seriously, 100% believed that I clicked 'Save and Quit'. The game took 1 hour and a half to close down. The next time I loaded it in, I discovered that it did NOT save after all. So the house makeover, and Rina's path of destruction... were lost completely.

Great, that was all I needed.

So now, when I close down my game, I click Save first. THEN I click quit. That way, for some weird reason, it actually DOES work. However, I haven't completely managed to get the room makeovers perfect. There are a few colour variations. And in Helen's room, I'd completely forgotten what wallpaper was on the walls. So, I had to seriously improvise.

And so she settled on this wallpaper instead.

Much nicer in my honest opinion.....

However, this was just small fry compared to what I discovered in game play prior to the 'non save' event. And this probably explains the reason behind the game being such a total pain in the posterior.

Ginny rushed off to hospital, with Ambrose close on her heels. The birth took forever, and finally the twins were born.

Ginny came out first with Violet,

awww, ain't she a cutie??? A BAD TEMPERED cutie, but nonetheless a cutie!!!!

then Ambrose followed with Susan.....

.... or at least I ASSUME it's Susan.

All I can see is....

... well, let the picture tell the story.

...... weird........

Hopefully, the game's righted itself, and Susan (when she's finally born) will look like a baby Sim, and not a long pink string of.... whatever.....
