Soon, they both managed to fall into a routine of sorts, taking turns with fussing over Helen. Whilst Ginny was on maternity leave, she managed to juggle Helen in between her normal day to day life.
She was so 'in tune' with her daughter that as soon as Helen was awake, Ginny would go to her, check to see if she needed feeding, if she was dry etc.
Then she'd put her back in the crib whilst she took a quick shower, grabbed leftovers from the fridge, before going back to see if Helen was fine.
If she didn't have much sleep through the night, she'd grab a few minutes nap time, before going to check on her daughter again.
Brosie in the meantime, would take over as soon as he came back from work. Although he did have a little naughty streak in him. He'd pick Helen out of the crib.
Casting a sly look over his shoulder, he listened to see if Ginny was about, then he'd started jiggling Helen up and down, much to her delighted squeals.
Then, if he heard approaching footsteps, he'd pop a bottle in his daughters mouth and pretend that she'd been fussing about and was hungry.
However, looking after a baby 24/7 DOES have it's 'moments', especially when Helen is having one of her 'fussy days' and Ginny decides to take her for an early morning stroll.....
.... in her underwear.
Distracted by her daughter's wailings, and the fact that Brosie was droning on in her ear about how he was expecting a promotion soon, she'd forgotten to change into her day clothes, and went out for a nice long stroll.
Thank goodness the weather stayed bright, sunny and warm (as it is perpetually sunny in Sims 3 - so far)

In the next update, we have a miniature wanderer on the lot, and Helen receives a strange toy.
