Ambrose Says the Sweetest Things

Virginia was worried about her health. Lately, she couldn't keep anything down, and she had the most weirdest cravings. She was also feeling very very tired all the time. So, she decided to pop into the walk-in health centre and see the doctor there. By the time she got back, it was getting late, there'd been a long waiting list due to flu jab drive that was going on.When she got home, she was feeling peckish. So, she decided to make herself some pancakes.




She started with the raw ingredients, got halfway through the recipe, but then, she suddenly lost her appetite as fatigue got the better of her.



She decided to go to bed instead, but was confronted by Ambrose who was looking decidedly worried.






"You okay?"
"I'm fine, really."



"You sure about that? You've been sleeping a lot lately, and I've heard you throwing up through the night. I'm worried you know."



Ginny looked sideways at him, unsure as to how she was going to break this news. He looked devastated at the thoughts of losing her, and she wondered how he'd take this news.




"I'm fine," she said carefully, "it's just that...."
"Just that ... what???"
"I'm..... pregnant."

There was a stunned silence, followed by Ambrose folding Ginny carefully into his arms.




"I'm going to be so FAT!"



"Oh silly," he said, hugging her close, "I'll love you no matter how curvy you get."
