Destruct-a-Dog

Ginny awoke feeling restless. Everyone else was still in bed fast asleep, but there was something niggling in her mind.

Her garden was in dire need of tending. Weeds were sprouting everywhere, but being constantly tired throughout her pregnancy, and handling Helen when she was a toddler, was taking it's toll on Ginny. She was constantly sleeping.

Nevertheless, she knew that if she didn't do something about that garden, all her hard work would have gone to waste.

Unfortunately, true to Sims fashion, it was right about this time, when the twins decided they wanted to make their appearance too. So, Ginny quickly checked in on everyone before heading to the hospital. Ambrose awoke to find his wife missing. He'd had a very late night, for no apparent reason, he just couldn't get to sleep, so he was groggy and exhausted. It was also his shift at work too.

But he followed Ginny to the hospital, whilst Helen got herself up and grabbed some leftovers from the fridge. It was her first day at school, and apart from Rina, there was nobody at home to see her off. But she managed all the same anyways.

Rina in the meantime, was all alone in the house. They'd already given her a box of toys, with which she'd managed to destroy one of them.

There was also a ball, that she chased around the garden. However, it took a little getting used to, since she was tripping over her own feet whilst trying to catch it!!!

But, the piece de la resistance for Rina, was the fact that there was nobody around to keep close tabs on her.

... and that old newspaper, laid abandoned in the grass....

.... was too much of a temptation.

She grabbed it, then stopped and looked around to see if anybody was watching.

Then flopped on the floor and proceeded to shred it to bits!!!!!

Growing Pains and Private School

Time, it appears, marches onward regardless, and the twins birthdays were upon us.
*sigh* seems like yesterday they were but babies, spitting pooping eating machines.

Well, as usual, I didn't plan a party.
However, we ended up with a houseful anyway.

Helen brought home a friend called Edith, then she met Alex Roth outside and invited him in.
On top of that, I brought a friend home from work....

..... Patricia Wan

(yes, the woman with the 'hots' for me)
Oh yes, got to watch her, I'm a married man with responsibilities. Besides, I've got that much going on in my life, I haven't time for anything else.

Poor Ginny was frazzled beyond belief, but she dutifully arranged all the cakes and stuff.
And with a babe each, we brought them to their allocated cakes and helped to blow out the candles.

Amid the yells and cheers, Violet was the first to grow up.

Not bad. Not bad at all. Just a little minor adjustment and ......

......

There you go.

Although she's kind of a tomboy and loves Fitness.
If she's not at the barre.

She's outside on the obstacle course, getting all dirty and sweaty.

Then it was Tristan's turn.
With wobbly knees, he rose to the occasion.

And what a handsome boy he turned out to be too.

His hobby is Nature and he's often found in the garden, tending to the tomato plants, even in mid winter. He's also a very sensitive soul, often seen playing chess with his mom.

So, as you can see. It turned into a houseful. Never mind the 'no party' rule, this place was buzzing with folks.

In a celebratory mood, Patricia decided to play a birthday tune for the twins.
That was sweet of her.

I redecorated the nursery (again) to suit Tristan's tastes.
Isn't it funny how my old room is now, once again, occupied by a boy.
My son no less.
It's had a great history. My room. Covered in galaxies and universe wallpaper, decorated pink for Helen, then the twins. And now, back to a rich blue for Tristan.

He's got a red, white and blue theme running through it. And Cleo's cat station has pride of place in the corner.

The girls both share Helen's room. I don't think Helen minds really. It's a great place for her to hang out.

The twins are really close, giving each other hugs and stuff.

Even Helen's coming out of her shell a little by going outside to play catch with Edith (under Ginny's careful supervision that is)

Well, it's school day again and the intrepid trio all set off on the bus. Helen is such an 'old hand' at this, showing Tristan and Violet all the ropes and stuff.

Someone (not guilty here) broke the bath again. So Ginny had to fix it.
Visions of Mom come to mind as the yells and screams of frustration were heard as I was going to work.

*sigh*

That's what you get with a houseful of kids.
Clutter everywhere.
Things breaking down.
A houseful of friends.

And an almost empty refrigerator.

Just wait until they're teens. THEN the fun begins!!!!

Whilst everyone was out, Ginny decided to call the Headmaster of the local private school and invite him over.

It's a wish of mine to see at least one of them in there.
After that, she frantically rushed around the house, tidying things away, preparing dinner etc.
What a trooper.

When I got home, she rushed outside to tell me and gave me a big hug too.

I guess she's forgiven me for getting her pregnant and having the 'misfortune' of bearing twins.

Well, we wanted to make a good impression, so we all sat down and helped everyone with their homework (except Helen, she was managing fine on her own).

Well, Tristan came home not looking too pleased with his report card, so we decided to all 'knuckle down' to an hour of 'study time'.

The Headmaster arrived and I was the first to greet him, whilst Tristan and Helen played chess and Violet was off elsewhere doing something that would make her all dirty and grubby.

Man, was he hard work. Wouldn't schmooze about school, hated chatting.
He enjoyed the house tour and the meal.

Even Ginny attempted to schmooze, but to no avail.
As soon as I had the option to schmooze about work, however, he was all over me like a bad rash. Chatting happily and talking non stop.

Thankfully, that last minute schmoozing got Helen, Tristan AND Violet into private school.

How lucky was that?

We all went to bed that night, dreaming sweet dreams.
I'm hoping for a promotion pretty soon.
Ginny wants to play with the kids.

Speaking of which, before we went to sleep, we checked in on them.

Violet, curled up hugging her pillow.

Tristan, arms thrown akimbo, just like his old man.

We've already seen Helen fast sleep anyway, so I don't have to repost that one.

It's the start of a brand new day

and

First day of Private School, and don't they all look smart, handsome and really neat?

Oh, I feel so old now, seeing all these kids growing up in front of me.
It's going to be Helen's turn again soon.

She'll be a teenager with even more problems.
Like boys.

Ambrose's Diaries - Blog Entry #7

Sorry for the delay in updating my blog, but such a lot's been happening recently.
After their unconventional wedding.

Yeah, I know. A Santa suit!?!?!

Mom and Dad just can't get enough of each other. They're always gazing into each other's eyes and stuff.

But enough about all that, I've really got to share some stuff with you today.

Firstly, I made my mom and dad proud of me. I've been studying hard, getting all my homework done and now I'm getting all straight "A's"

Even the Headmaster keeps popping over and calling mom, just to give her a progress report. He's even suggested that I go to Academie Le Tour, when I finally go to college. So, I decided to have a look at their prospectus on the internet.

It looks pretty good actually. All I need to do is to keep building a few skills and submit my application.

I got a promotion at work, and now I'm top of my career.
Way to go!!!!

Also, I think my two left feet syndrome's over. I can manage my balance and a few plies on the barre now. All thanks to my rising body skills.

I'm not the only one either. Determined to get to the top of her career, mom's started relying on some weird helmet type hat, with a lightbulb on the top.

Personally, I'm not sure she should be using it. And dad agrees too. Whenever he sees her wearing it, he always looks extremely concerned.

I'm not sure, just don't quote me on this. But I think that that was one of dad's inventions. I'm often catching him messing about with the robot crafting station.
He denies it of course, but I suspect he just can't help tinkering about all the time.

As a special 'gift' mom was given a Bio Station to help to boost her skills. She's always on there, making medicines for all cures.

Sooo, whilst she was asleep, I decided to try it out for myself.

Shhh. Just don't tell her ok?

I have to admit, it's pretty complicated. Especially with all those gadgets and buttons.

DAMMIT!!!!

What's wrong with this thing?
I can't get anything right? all that hard work down the drain.....

.... literally.

Dad's a really nice quiet guy. If he's not writing in his journal, he's also trying his dab hand at painting.
He's not very good. He even admitted that himself, however, I think he just likes to daub some paint onto a canvas, just to relax himself after a hard day's work.

Well, that's my news for today.
I know it's overlong, but I had so much to tell you all.

Cheers for now
